Blindside’s Sound Series is a two-day event focused on showcasing Melbourne’s vibrant sound art and experimental music community. All events are free and open to the general public.

Friday 1 July, 6.30pm
DIY MUSIC NIGHT
An improvised music night curated by ROD COOPER and BENJAMIN KOLAITIS. Artists explore the making of sound through DIY and prepared instruments, circuit bending and improvisation.

Saturday 2 July, 2-3.30pm
CIRCUIT BENDING WORKSHOP
The session, run by artist CERI HANN, will explore the very simple and intuitive process of rewiring children’s toys in the pursuit of the unusual sonic contortions that ensue. The workshop will involve learning by doing and comprehending through play. (Walk ins also welcome and experience is not required.)
