LEARNING RESOURCE | WHERE ART LIVES: Art Outside the Gallery – From the Public Square to the Internet
An education resource on public art and art in public spaces.
This learning resource is free, however access is restricted to teachers. To receive a copy of this education resource please fill out this form.
Alongside this resource, we have developed a webpage for student use which contains images from Uncommon Nature, a 2019 screen-based BLINDSIDE SATELLITE Project, which looked towards ideas of collective experience and the inherent multiplicity that is encapsulated within it both online and ‘in real life’. It examined notions of the public space, specifically the public square, and what it means for art to occupy these spaces and connect physically disparate audiences through a collective experience. This webpage includes exhibition details, and the freely downloadable exhibition publication.
We hope that you find these resources useful and engaging. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
